The first link is to the website of our great friend Chris, pictured with lovely Barbara. We got married with them in Antigua and have loved them ever since. This site and domain name was our Christmas present but don’t blame him for the boring content! Check Chris out for web design and search engine optimisation HERE .
Calypso is a Moody S38, recognised as a well built mid-market standard – a BMW rather than a Rolls Royce, a 320d rather than an M5!
More information can be found about Moodys on the owners’ association website HERE
We have read blogs of people who have gone before us:
Yacht Rivalady – this links to October 2014 with the owners fitting out, before heading off in May 2015 to Northern Spain via Padstow, Brittany and the Bay of Biscay. They finished the year at Lagos on the Portuguese Algarve.
Yacht Ruby Rose – a young couple moved aboard in 2014 before setting off in 2015 via Spain to the Canaries, then across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. I have yacht envy (running with my car analogy, they have a Panamera!)
Cygnus III – a humorous take on the journey south and the liveaboard life
Whinchatter – summer sailing trips Ireland/Scotland, France, Biscay crossing to North Spain – in a sailing Range Rover. More boat envy!

Sailing and Cruising Scotland – a website aimed at Scottish cruising, with associated Facebook Group and a further website featuring sailing videos was started in 2015 by Kenny McVey, a friend from Kip marina. How Kenny finds time (now assisted by other moderators) to run what is now a fast growing and successful site, as well as his growing landscape maintenance business, is beyond us. Well done Kenny.
I am tempted to link to eBay but you know where that is!
